1. Ensure your website’s responsive
According to the industry experts at TechnicWeb, a responsive website is paramount to keeping up with the property industry. As mobile users account for a large amount of online visitors, if your website can’t be viewed on a mobile device, you will inevitably lose a large proportion of visitors to competitors with a responsive website.

2. Increase your SEO performance
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is a vital component in how well your website will perform. Make sure you are optimising your website by including keywords within your content, page titles, image names and alt tags.

3. Get social
Schedule in some festive posts to go out on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram during the festive period. Include blog posts, videos and photos and always ensure that you link back to your website.

4. Don’t forget about paid search
If you don’t already, consider investing in paid search. Spend some time researching your keyword selection; with PPC (pay-per-click) you want to target those who are more likely to convert and turn into a lead, rather than those that will cost you money without delivering results. For example, if you are an agent based in Milton Keynes, you would want to target keywords such as ‘Estate Agent Milton Keynes’ or ‘Buy property in Milton Keynes’.

5. Get seen on property portals
